Vacancy: Financial Analyst / Numbercruncher

As a full-time financial analyst, you will be part of our complementary and driven team. You will perform in-depth analyses of listed companies and translate data into valuable insights. You will combine classic financial analysis with modern tools and actively participate in the further development of our AI capabilities.

Job Description

Your duties will include:

Analyzing financial reports, balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
Reviewing business valuations and preparing financial models.
Monitoring macroeconomic and sectoral developments and translating these insights into investment strategies.
Identifying risks and opportunities based on your own research.
Proactively gather market intelligence and dig deep for relevant business information.
Presenting analyses and recommendations to internal and/or external stakeholders.

Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

A master's degree in a relevant field such as economics, finance, commercial engineering, business administration, mathematics, statistics or other analytical study.
At least several years of relevant work experience in the financial analysis of (listed) companies.
A CFA certification or willingness to obtain one is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
A passion for numbers and an intrinsic motivation to continuously learn new things.
Ability to independently and proactively gather information and make connections.
Excellent communication skills and a structured approach in reporting and presentation.
Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and oral.
Knowledge of data analysis, programming in Python and AI integration is a plus.
